CREATING FIRE VISUALS
FOR GROWING BRANDS
FRAN FROM NAR
Hey, I’m Francesco, a brand and logo designer from the tiny island of Malta, now based in Italy and enjoying the slow life. I’ve been a graphic designer for over 15 years, 10 of which have been freelance. I have worked with people from all over the world, creating visuals for brands that value consistency.
My main goal for my next decade in this business is to help growing brands with great ideas and spectacular products get branding that matches what they offer, so they are ready to play with the big guys.
If you are just starting out or your visuals need a refresh, I am here to help you get the message across through creative strategy and storytelling that will make people remember who you are!
THE PROCESS
1
LEARNING
When a client reaches out for a new brand or rebrand, I don’t just open my computer and start designing, as that rarely works out well.
First, we do a discovery call. We chat, get to know each other, and talk about your project. I love learning about your passion and the hard work you’ve put in, because those details often become the heart of your brand.
After that, we go through a simple questionnaire together. We look closely at what your business does, where you want to take it, and how you want people to see it. We cover every angle so nothing gets missed.
2
CONCEPTUALIZE
This is where the real strategy starts. Good brand design isn’t just about making things look nice, it is about solving a problem.
I take a close look at your answers and find what makes your business unique. It could be your personal backstory woven into the logo, company values shown through color, or a specific feeling we want the brand to trigger. Once the strategy is clear, I start sketching.
3
EXECUTE
After research, sketching, and testing different ideas, I move to the computer.
I polish the winning concept and turn it into a complete, flexible logo suite. I pick a strong color palette and define how to use it, choose typography that fits your tone, and build custom brand elements, like patterns, icons, or photography guidelines, to give your brand a solid foundation.
